"HIGH ON FIRE are set to film for an up-coming appearance on the hit TV show, Monster Garage. The band will be performing the songs "Devilution" and "Brother in The Wind" from their critically acclaimed album Blessed Black Wings during the in-studio taping on Friday, November 11th. The air-date for this episode is TBA. Monster Garage, which airs Monday nights at 9:00 pm EST on the Discovery Channel, has a weekly viewership of six million people. The show features motorcycle-lifestyle icon and West Coast Choppers founder Jesse James and his team of maverick mechanics transforming ordinary cars into extraordinary mega-machines. The following day HIGH ON FIRE will play at West Coast Choppers' 10th annual block party; The No Love Party in Long Beach, CA. In addition to HIGH ON FIRE, this years No Love Party will include performances from THE ADOLESCENTS, MANIC HISPANIC, the LA Derby Dolls Roller Derby team, Mexican wrestlers and much more. On display will be Monster Garage cars and West Coast Chopper bikes."
Unfortunately Monster Garage really, really, really sucks now...but cool they're going to have High On Fire crank out a few songs.

All depends on how wild it usually is. Any bike show around here will attract at least a 50% rub crowd with practically no gang members. Then you have Laconia Bike Week which has a ton of gang activity and only a few rubs.

Didn't the Adolescents change their name years ago?

I didn't even know the Adolescents had gotten back together in the first place.

Looks like the Danzig/Doyle combo will be there, too: DANZIG will be performing at the West Coast Choppers' 10th annual No Love Party on Saturday, November 12 at 4:00 p.m. in Long Beach, California. Jesse James of West Coast Choppers and Glenn Danzig go way back, as anyone who's seen the "Mother '93" video knows. DANZIG will be joined during their performance by former MISFITS guitarist Doyle Von Frankenstein for a special 30-minute set of MISFITS classics. Doyle played with DANZIG on the recent "Blackest of the Blast" tour in what was being billed as "the closest thing to a MISFITS reunion you're going to see." Also appearing on the bill will be HIGH ON FIRE and DROID. Admission is FREE but the organizers are asking for $10.00 donations for the Greenbelt Park Beautification, City of Long Beach. More information is available at www.westcoastchoppers.com.
