This realization just hit me in the face. I don't like anyone. I really don't.
I got confirmation that all the people I've been calling my friends hate me, so whatever.
I'd been suspecting this for a while anyway so I guess it shouldn't be a big deal. But you know, life comes and goes. New people will take their place. I'll just have to endure some time without any real friends.
Hell, maybe it'll be better this way. Friends suck anyway.

I think this matter's pretty much been settled.
I guess I shouldn't figure shit's done for based on one bad night.
I still have to talk to the kid who flipped out on me though. For some reason he decided to take seriously that I said Myspace and Livejournal are the tools of idiots. Like I could care less. I can't always blame him though. He's just as big an asshole as I am. I can tell he's seriously depressed. Why? I'm not sure.
Maybe if his brother didn't fuck up his computer every time he went on it, I'd try and get him to post here. He likes his fair share of heavy music.

I don't know...I'd have to agree with that. I'm not saying that everybody that uses these services are idiots, but I do agree that idiots are drawn to this shit like rednecks to monster trucks. Myspace is just like anything else on the internet. If you want to use it like a retard, it's easy to do so. If you want to use it productively, it can be a good tool. It can't be generalized into one or the other.

Well, first off a whole part of myspace is dedicated to bands. You create a band account and you can upload 4 songs for people to listen to, post when/where/how much your upcoming shows are, and easily get feedback from people. My band has an account on there for the sole purpose of getting our music out there (what it's all about). At first, I said on our main page that we were not accepting friends because we weren't there for a popularity contest, but I realized how counterproductive that was, now I accept most people who send a request (unless they're obviously not interested in the music). Again, you could easily use it to meet chicks and whatnot, but it has other uses. Remember, a lot of punk rockers were anti-internet in general for a long time.
