No. It's Strom Thurmond. The guy was a Senator for 50 years...he ran for president in the 40s under a party advocating strict racial separation.
I believe the Onion said it best...when he died, they had a headline that said "Strom Thurmond Finally, Finally Dies".
That's a case of someone who sucks dying. But sucky people die all the time. Just not tragically, it seems.

Well I meant if someone you know IN PERSON dies it's usually someone you never thought much of or liked it's rarely someone you can't stand. A few years back there was the kid (who I didn't like or dislike I just saw him in the hallways a few times) who fell in the river. The people saved him before he died but, he was handicapped. He just sat in a wheelchair slobbering and making groaning noises. He was a vegetable. He was nearly blind, and has very bad hearing. He may as well have been dead. A year later he died in bed by choking on his toung or somthing like that. A bit unfortunate I suppose But, I never felt anything for him. He's better off dead anyways.

I actually told one of my friends to kill me if I ever became that mentally retarded. I don't think I could ever live a life like that, which is why I respect people who can put up with it.
