Agreed. A band that has good control over changing tempo's is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Then again, it all depends on the style of music. A raw black metal band with quality tempo changes doesn't impress me as much as a grindcore band with the same ability.

Next was a peice of shit song that must have switched tempo's at least 20 times throughout the song. Hold on there boy. Some bands do that extremely well. Just because Mudvayne can't do it doesn't mean anything. oh I know, that was not what I meant. It wasn't even changing tempo they were just trying to. it's was such a crappy song.

Dragonforce are Power Metal, very fast power metal. Awesome guitar work but that's about it.
Timechanges when done poorly and just thrown in for the hell of it are never good to listen to, when I saw Angra and Dungeon a couple of months back a Progressive Metal act named 'Jennifer Will Drown' opened, every song was horrible.
Mostly because they threw in time changes at random for little reason other than without them they wouldn't be Prog Metal (since they hardly had the technical abilities down). The crowd just stood silent through their entire set (including a pretentious 30 minute song about some haunted banquet).

That's actually what I was trying to make you take notice of. The guy screaming is the vocalist of Into The Moat, and he's an authentic badass.
