That's what I predicted at the beginning of last season. We know it sure isn't going to be Kansas City.

That's what I predicted at the beginning of last season. We know it sure isn't going to be Kansas City. Don't count KC out yet, Vermeil will eventually turn on the water works and KC will turn things around...happened in Philly, happened in St. Louis. I think the NFC is going to come down to whoever has home field advantage. If it comes down to Philly / St. Louis again, the home team is gonna win. Fuck, anyone that has to go through New England better stuff some R-13 down their shorts before taking the field!

KC really took the NFL by surprise this year, but they're really starting to show their true colors. Don't get me wrong, I think Vermeil is a phenominal coach and I'm sure KC will be making it to the playoff's, but I don't think they have what it takes when it comes down to the line. They have to go through some tough competition: New England, Tennessee, and Indianapolis. All three of those teams I consider to be better than KC at this point.
The NFC this year has been highly disappointing to me. You hit the nail on the head with the only two powerhouse teams: Philly and St. Louis. There are some impressive teams, don't get me wrong, but nothing as strong as the Rams and the Eagles.
As much as I love New England, I'm hoping it doesn't come down to another New England vs. St. Louis SuperBowl. Since I hate both the Titans and the Rams, that's what it will probably be. I would love a combination of any of these teams, though (in this order):
AFL: New England, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Cincinatti NFL: Philadephia, Seattle, Minnesota

I couldn't tell if you were serious or not, so I researched their win loss record this year. Tuna is a good coach and all, but Dallas is still a mediocre/bad team at best. Here's their record...
Sep 7 Atlanta Lost 13-27...Yeah, way to start the season. Lose to a 3 win team.
Sep 15 @n.Y. Giants Won 35-32...beat the Giants by 3. In case you didn't know, the Giants suck this year.
Week 3 BYE...well, at least they didn't lose.
Sep 28 @n.Y. Jets Won 17-6...Ooooh, the Jets.
Oct 5 Arizona Won 24-7....Ooooh, yet another crap team. Wow, they've really done a good job establishing themselves as a contender so far.
Oct 12 Philadelphia Won 23-21...So they beat Philly by 2. Granted, Philly is a good team, but at this point in the season Philly wasn't nearly the team they are right now.
Oct 19 @detroit Won 38-7...They follow up their glorious win by blowing out one of, if not the worst, team in the NFL. Oct 26 @tampa Bay Lost 0-16...If Tampa Bay can score 16 on this team, it's obvious their defense isn't all it's cracked up to be. Nov 2 Washington Won 21-14...I'd say they're about on par with Washington, so this is a legitimate win. Nov 9 Buffalo Won 10-6...Crap team, and they only won by 4. Nov 16 @new England Lost 0-12...Face some real competition, get shut down hard. Nov 23 Carolina Won 24-20...They pulled this one out of their ass. Granted, I don't think Carolina is all that and a bag of chips, but this is a quality win for Dallas. Nov 27 Miami Lost 21-40...Miami scored 40 against these guys. 40! This is the team that has Jay Fiedler as their starting quarterback! Dec 7 @philadelphia Lost 10-36...No surprise here. Face some more real competition, get blown out.
So there you have it. Those were some mostly fluffy wins, and they weren't by much in most cases. If Dallas makes the Super Bowl they'll be facing either New England, Indianapolis, or Tennessee. Any of those three teams will blow these guys right out of the water.
