gouka was cool, hope emily's pictures come out good, they had a great "look". all those opposed was terrible and played too long. i only caught like one hc song by shred the past, but their cover of creeping death was cool. i was surprised the guitarist tried to pull off the solo, but he did a pretty decent approximation of the original. i'm supposed to be doing some artwork for those guys.

i think he got accused of being Canadian. ouch! And why is that? I'm assuming it's because he looks so gay, since you think Canadians are gay. So for you to have thought have that remark you must have thought "well lets see, lamp does indeed look like a goofy ass newfie. I know what comment I'm throwing." Now I asked you Derek, what kind of friend are you? Not a very good one apparently.

Who else is playing?
Edit: Ah wait, never mind, just saw the listing.
Sibling Rivalry is hands down the drunkest band I've ever seen.

the night WAS made exciting by the presence of this amazing specimen of humanity however: this guy was like 300 lbs, total road warrior get up complete with brown banded leather armor vest over black leather jacket, lots of bones, tattoo of t rex skull(?) on side of head, dreadhawk, leather boots with straps all the way up sides, etc. the coolest thing was the montgomery burns "excellent!" embroidered patch sewn on his inner vest

HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA
that dude was SIIICK! we were all saying he was from mad max, beyond thunderdome. the best thing about him, in my opinion, was that he looked like that, but was there for some classic rock/cover band and didnt seem to give a shit about anything heavy. awesome. that pic should go into our 7" layout.
dude, do a sketch of the other guy... that had your pants on... another unforgettable character.

yeah, that other guy was 2nd runner up for most ridic looking dude there last night:
snakeskin cowboy hat, leapard print spandex pants, cowboy boots, painted HANOI ROCKS leather jacket, motley crue shirt... or course he was like 6'2" and weighed about 150

show the other night was cool. we opened, and were pretty out of place on the bill (have heart, verse, guns up, shipwreck) but it was still pretty fun. we played well, and basically buddy spent the whole time just telling all the people they suck for not dancing for a band they dont know. it was pretty funny. he dedicated "dance off" to all the people there. when we played confusion, he said "all those people in the back, you cant even see from back there. why dont you move up? mass confusion setting in" or something. it actually got some people dancing, so i guess it worked!

Were they doing spin kicks and windmills and two-stepping?
I didn't go to this show for a good reason.

spin kicks and windmills for guns up, other than that, a lot of 2 stepping, turn backs, stagedives, and singalongs.

Ah, stagediving is cool. Don't know what a "turn back" is. The rest of that stuff is pretty lame if you ask me.
