subjectivite.net/clips.htmI didn't watch them all, but the 2nd one was pretty cool and somewhat accurately conveys being at an LB show. You just have to imagine the crowd around them goes back like 30 people deep on all sides.

Kick ass. When I get some time away from work I'll definitely check those out. Thanks for the link!

#8 is pretty cool too... the half naked guy in the audience is whipping himself with his belt at the end of it, haha.

Damnit, that's not from the show I went to. I wish it was. I ended up crowd surfing at one point.

I just finished watching them all. Scoots, you are the man for posting that. Awesome stuff.
That guy with the beard was hilarious. I was hoping the drummer would use his head as a drum when he got too close.

They are playing Friday at the Columbus (an old porno theater) with Necronomitron, Metalux, and White Mice. Should be awesome!
The greatest thing about LB live is that they *never* play on a stage. Trying not to fall onto Brian's drumset is half the fun. I urge you all to see them live if you get the chance as their recorded output just doesn't measure up to the live experience.

Wait a minute...this Friday? Lightning Bolt and Necronomitron in the same venue? This isn't an 18+ venue, is it? Where is it?

Well, I checked it out. Sounds really cool. I'll have to Mapquest directions to this place, and find other people to go with. All the people I've asked seem busy...one's going to a house full of URI friends, another's going to visit his dad, another has to get up for work at 6 the next morning...still, I have another friend who can't resist the Bolt. When he saw them on September 12th, he said it was the best show he ever went to, topping the Hives(he's into a lot of alternative rock type stuff). I'll see if he wants to go.
Speaking of the Lots of Noise forums, I actually made a couple posts there last night. Stupid crap, really, but now I have a whopping 17 posts since I signed up in December 2003. My questions have generally gone ignored any time I asked them.

Lamp, head up to Broadway early and hit Armageddon Shop first, it's about a half mile down from the Columbus.

Sounds like a good idea. When I bought the Tragedy/Totalitar split, it had a business card for Armageddon Shop that had the hours on it. It closes at 8 on Fridays. That's perfect. I can get up there at a reasonable time, browse around Armageddon, leave at 8, put my stuff in a friend's car(I don't know who's driving, I just know I have a couple friends who definetely want to go), and be there before the music starts at 8:30.

I just heard that Tiny Hawks will be taking Necronomitron's place at this show. I'm kind of disappointed, but how do Tiny Hawks sound?

I took your recommendation of going to Armageddon Shop before this show. That place is nothing short of god. I didn't have much time to browse, but I picked up a couple LPs(Backstabbers Inc. and Noxagt).
The other time I saw Lightning Bolt was better(and louder), but hey, a show's a show. White Mice was certainly entertaining. Tiny Hawks rocked too. Wish I could say the same about Metalux too.
