Brazilian hyperspeed godfathers KRISIUN return! Bloodshed, although not considered a full-length studio album, delivers 8 new studio tracks (including 3 intros/outros) recorded 100% analog at De Tribo Studios (Abhorrence, Horned God) in the band’s hometown of Sao Paolo, Brazil. Unquestionably Krisiun, these tracks show the band clear-cutting their way into uncharted territory exploring a groove-oriented sound. New tracks on Bloodshed include more mid-paced tempos while still highlighting the band’s trademark extended interludes of rapid-fire machine gun guitar riffs. The kings of unholy compositions have not however backed away from their utter brutality; the new tracks emphasize the band’s continuing infernally ferocious songwriting. Bloodshed also includes 4 tracks from their rare, cult, underground first release Unmerciful Order EP (1993).
Certainly sounds interesting, but Krisiun plus groove-oriented sound just doesn't sit well with me. I'm going to have to check this out.
