I'm listening to it right now. While I think your review is right on the money as far as description, I don't know what you see in these guys. The first song is decent with the exception of the mind-numbing repetition, but the second strikes me as half-assed, choppy thrash. I'm thinking Schizophrenia-era Sepultura mixed with Swordmaster's more banal tunes with a dash of Nuclear Assault's guitarwork but well undercooked.
Regardless, it's an accurate, well done review...just not my taste.

i LOVE generic thrash and will listen to a destruction clone over more technical/talented/inspired stuff anyday. i can't get into grind or techmetal at all. i'm a punker at heart so simple and repetitive are not negatives to me. thanks for your insights.

When you think about it, everything's repetitive in a way. People will say something about a band like "These songs all sound the same" and I'm thinking "No shit...they're all by the same band". They have their own styles and of course it's going to sound within that.

Yeah, you'll hear that complaint a lot with all the grind flavorings...and Mortician. I think the thing with Mortician, though, is that every song actually is the same.
I blame the incestuous genre influence of modern bands, rarely drawing from other forms of music, just churning out the same shit with minor alterations. Come on, fuckers! Let's mix some of this grind with jazz! Why does nobody realize just how fucking cool free jazz is? Look at Libido Airbag! They suck, but have found success with their "cybergrind". Look at how popular Blood Duster are! All they do is mix grind with rock. How many more Razorback releases do we have to buy before people start demanding something new?!?
Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. That chorus to that first Casbah song was about as appealing to me as a fire alarm going off next to my ear.
EDIT: I hate smileys. This stems from my original hatred for people with jaundice.

Also, when my Lightning Bolt review for Ride The Skies gets put up, be sure to also get his files for that and see if my review was okay.
