I lost track of what Exodus was doing when they released that bone eating island shit. But, didn't we have a review for that? Was that the album with the New Mexico prison thing? I always wanted to research that more.

God damn, how new? I remember Mofo or Nigger talking about Souza and some waltz of the damned shit. Fuck. I know nothing about Exodus. Except that Baloff was a prick to some old friends of mine. I remember that.

So, I would have to answer your question by saying that it probably sucks.

TEMPO OF THE DAMNED IS CLASSIC THRASH RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE BANDS BEST. I INTERVIEWED GARY HOLT RIGHT BEFORE ITS RELEASE. EVERYONE KNOWS BY NOW THAT DE SOUZA IS OUT AGAIN. I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER THE NAME OF THE GUY WHO REPLACED HIM.

Ha, you know you're right thrashed. Not very open minded of me, was it. I thought of that immediately after making the post. What I meant to say is that I probably wouldn't care for it. You may.
I hadn't met him personally, no. I did see him live when he was singing for Testament when they were called Legacy. I wasn't at this show, but I think I still may have a flyer. Years ago, I was friends with some guys that had a band called Betrayel. They were getting really good, but alas, no record contract came along before they disbanded. Anyway we were all mutual friends of a girl that had a record store in San Francisco. She would get them shows. They played a show with Spaztic Children, a probably short lived Metallica offspring featuring James and Kirk, I believe. I think Baloff was managing the club, Mabuhay? Or the Rock on, right before it closed for good. Anyway, I had heard that Baloff deliberately pulled the plug on Betrayels set, possibly fearing that they were stealing the show. He also apparently tried to run out the back door without paying them. I wasn't there but had a credible friend at the time who kind of acted as their road manager tell my friends and I this. Just an old story.

Steve was replaced breifly by Matt Harvey from Exhumed, and now they have some guy named Rob Dukes who I have never heard of in my life.
With the exception of "Force Of Habit", Exodus can do no wrong.

That's what I'm assuming. Overall I'll go with Slayer, but as far as the modern versions of those four I'll go with Anthrax.

I'd have to go with Slayer. They bore the hell out of me, but I hate Metallica and I've never heard any Megadeth or Anthrax.

reign in blood and kill 'em all are so closely tied in my mind for the title of favorite metal album. metallica i guess got way shittier in the long run, but the early stuff is untouchable AND they never wore makeup.
among the living is another of my all time faves, serious sentimental shit here. i can quote those lyrics backwards and forewards and still will living room mosh to the WARDANCE breakdown in "indians." i don't really like most other anthrax.
i like peace sells kind of a lot (certain songs anyway) but it is the only whole megadeth album i can stand.
it's tough, i think just based on sentimental reasons i'd give metallica the number one spot, slayer close second, then anthrax and megadeth way in the rear (no pun).

...and still will living room mosh... Ha! I hear that. I like to turn up stuff on the stereo and do all this skank circle ninja shit when nobody's in the room. I'd never do that at a show though. I'm not into hurting people. It's strange how I have no knowledge of a lot of the big name bands. I've been meaning to look up Exodus, but Soulseek hasn't been working for me lately.
