BODY COUNT Lined Up For OZZFEST 2006? - Feb. 1, 2006 Jesse Hayes of the Cleveland radio station WMMS 100.7 FM announced on Tuesday, January 31 during his daily "Buzzard Rock Report" segment that BODY COUNT — the heavy metal band fronted by rapper/actor Ice T — will be performing at this year's Ozzfest. You can download the 80-second "Buzzard Rock Report" audio clip/podcast at this location (MP3, 1.3 MB).
As previously reported, DISTURBED frontman David Draiman revealed during an appearance on the Seattle station 99.9 KISW that his band will also be appearing on this summer's Ozzfest.
DISTURBED's last appearance on Ozzfest was in 2003, when they shared the main stage with OZZY OSBOURNE, KORN, MARILYN MANSON and CHEVELLE.
In addition to DISTURBED and BODY COUNT, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY's booking agent recently told Billboard magazine that Zakk Wylde and Co. have also been confirmed for this summer's trek. Additional offers to play the tour have been extended to AVENGED SEVENFOLD and ATREYU, according to recently published interviews with both artists.

Yes, Ice-T is still on Law and Order:SVU. I thought the last album they put out was like 10 or 11 years ago?

I think they just released a new album recently. I'm sure it's fucking awful. Makes sense they would play at ZzzzzFest.

He's gotta try and get his street cred back. It's been years since he's been an OG, and now he's lost respect, yo.

There's not as much money in OG as their used to be. Have you seen his house on Cribs? The guy lives in a mansion, and has a snack machine installed at the house if anybody would like a snack. He also mentioned on that episode that he would do any movie so long as he was getting paid.
The guy simply likes money.

They all simply like money. Why else would they drive gold & diamond encrusted Bentleys, with a seat full of horny, loose women, and a trunk full of $100 bills, with one of these on his wrist and a house that could be used for a maintenance hanger for jumbo jets, and they're all still pissed off because they don't have quite enough money to fill a swimming pool and take a dip in.

And isn't it ironic that a guy who made alot of bank with the controversy surrounding his song, "Cop Killer", is now playing a cop on TV?
