Partly inspired by Scoots telling us he spent $100 on a Poison Idea record and partly inspired by countless times browsing through Armageddon Shop and seeing stuff I liked at high prices...I ask, what is the highest amount you would pay for a record?
5 or 6" 7" Between 8-11" LP
Waiting to see replies before I add my own.

When it comes to music, I usually don't spend a shitload of cash on something. This stems from the fact that I like a ton of different music, and my "want" list could probably fill 20 pages. I would not be able to bring myself to spend $100 on a single record knowing full well that $100 could also go a long way towards crossing off a few names from my mental list.
With that said, the most I would pay for a record is about $30.

only good 5" is dropdead/crossed out and i already have it.
7": misfits horror business on black sold for $8K on ebay so i guess even $7K would be a "good" price for that right? heh
honestly i don't often spend over $25 on any record. the exception is when i do a round of ebay sales and make some good bank. the way i look at it is if i bought a record for $3 and sell it for $50 and then used that money to buy a different $50 record, it's like i only spent $3 on it, not $50. even so i would probably never pay more than $150-200 for any record that i wasn't going to resell.
