Not the band, but the actual end to KitF. Due to personal reasons, I have decided not to continue updating the website. It wasn't an easy choice, and one I already regret to an extent, but I would rather leave the site on a good note than have it turn into one of the billions of updated-once-every-other-month music review sites out there.
It's been fun, and who knows, maybe the site will be resurrected again some day. Cheers!

this is a damn shame, this site has by far the best reviews. ive learned about a shit load of cool bands i wouldve never heard of otherwise. good luck with whatever you gotta do.

Cool. Thanks guys. Just to let you know, I'm pre-paid on my hosting through March/April. My plans are to point the domain directly to this board after that. I still have a lot of reviews waiting to be put up, so I'll just continue to do it here whenever I have the opportunity. Technically, the site will still be around...it will just be confined to a message board.

Got tired? keep the text of the reviews on the boards. The abundance of info people could on those would always be helpful.
Oh well, you know what, i was gonna ask you sometime weather you are interested in making a break away site from this one covering music that we listen to which is non metal, and call it just a pinch in the face.

You know, I thought I would eventually be happy with the decision to end this. Basically, I would have more time and money to be spending on other things. But every single day I have regretted this decision. As it turns out, despite the time and money involved in keeping this place going, it's just one of those things I really, really enjoy.
I'm keeping this place around...however I'm not going to be updating it as frequently as I have been. I need to find a happy medium here. 15 minutes a day is a far less work load than what I was doing before...so I'm going to stick it out with that and see how it goes.

It's not the lack of reviews. We have a slew of them. It's just that since I'm the only person that can put them onto the site, it tends to be a little slow.

Wouldnt it be much more easier for you if the site would be more text based? I mean Check out ChroniclesofChaos.net Album covers are not that important but the reviews are.

I love CoC, but getting a picture of the album isn't that huge of a deal. I want to offer not only the review, but a bunch of information about the album, as well. Tracking listing, line-up, and discography specifically. Hopefully it helps out those just getting into the music, but who knows...
