I haven't been around much and the message boards have been incredibly inactive, but here's what's been going on lately...
First things first, most of our reviewers have moved onto different things:
Follow The Hollow: Started up his own kickass website over at The Endless Feed
Scoots: Doesn't like this place anymore and gracefully stepped out.
Lamp: No idea what his problem was, but he removed himself as admin from the board, changed his name to a sad smilie, and has been back only once.
Skin Splitter: Dropped off the face of the earth.
Uncle Meat: Is expecting his first child any day now and has been going back to school to get one of them ejumacashion thingies.
So that only leaves Horatio and I. Obviously, my personal life has been pretty busy lately but I couldn't bring myself to put the final bullet in this website. But opportunity knocked when I figured I had no more doors to look behind...
GWAR has been my favorite band (theatrics aside) for years and years and years. Their old newsletter, Mind Control Monthly, is being brought back into publication with their newfound success. In their new magazine they needed a review section.
So you see where this is going?
Kicked In The Face is going into print, but I'll use this website to host all of the archives reviews. Issue number zero has already been printed and reviewed by GWAR. Since it is pretty much the premiere issue to showcase the band, the review section is miniscule, but starting with issue number one Kicked In The Face will be in full swing.
So that's what's been going on lately. Stay tuned for more details. Cheers!
