Why I hate drugs/drinking/smoking

Guilty conscious? Anyway, I used to be a relatively big pothead for a little while. I call potheads "hippies" like I call guys wearing Kittie T-shirts "faggots".

Here's the Cliff Notes on what I've gathered from my experience in smoking weed:
1. The quality of people you hang out with goes way downhill. It starts out fine among casual smokers and partiers in highschool, but eventually you're hanging out with burnouts that eat food out of trash cans and steal to buy a bag.

2. Heavy smokers generally fit into one mentality...
a. The party goer. He's the guy with the seven foot bong that praises cheap beer and hoochies.
b. The spiritualist. The nimrod that thinks weed makes him open-minded and tries to get something out of getting high...like pretending he's a dead leaf or some equally stupid shit.

Both of these kinds of people I unconditionally hate. Their purpose in life is to be the butt of all jokes.

Basically, I just think weed is a waste of time and money. I have nothing against people that will pass around a bone at a party on occassion, but people who make weed a lifestyle are fucking stupid.

That's no different from saying just because you listen to metal your a goth.

Actually, it would be like saying people who listen to metal are metal heads. For the record, I generally hate metal heads, as well.

I do hate all goths, though. Every last fucking one of 'em.

Besides, none of this shit is anything I'd spend money on. You know how much money I've spent on music related stuff over the years? Hundreds of CDs, cassettes, and records, $700 on a guitar with a hardshell case, $400 on a used drum set, not to mention all the string changes on my guitar and bass, all the picks, cords, two effects pedals(distortion and phase shifter in case you were wondering)...not cheap. I'd be broke by now if I liked to party.

Party types tend to be pretty one dimensional in my experience talking to them. But then again, I never did get to know most of those losers too well. They're all too busy talking about how they got totally fucked up over the weekend, like it's a good thing. Try having meaningful discussion with a regular partygoer. I bet you can't.

wow. I'm pretty much sober now but, I drank 8 beer about 3 hours ago and I couldn't get drunk no matter how much I drank or how fast I drank it. I was buzzed sure but, not drunk

Even if it meant drinking girly wine cooler shit, I'd always go for taste over effect. Just because my mind's something I take very seriously and I'm not about to fuck it up for the likes of you.

I like the taste of beer more than wine coolers. Not Budweiser, though. That stuff turns my stomach...although Bud Ice isn't bad on a hot day if it's cold and drunken fast.

I'm more into stouts and porters.

As for the typical metalhead, thrashed, I'm talking about those guys at shows sporting long hair, dirty-ass jeans, usually unemployed and/or living with their parents, own more metal t-shirts than actual CD's, head bang and create big whirling fans of hair, and usually scream dumb shit like, "Death fucking metal!" or "Saataaan!" for the whole show. If you go see a big name band, they're also the idiots that will scream the name of that band while the opening bands are playing.
