A GBA remake of the original Metroid game. You'd hardly be able to tell...they added on quite a bit. You can go to Crateria in this one. New moves. Stuff from Super Metroid thrown in(Gravity Suit, Super Missiles, Speed Booster etc.). Lots of new mini-bosses. Obviously the graphics are much improved.
I'm not all the way through it yet, but it's kicked ass so far.

I didn't realize this was somewhat of a remake of the first. Man, I have some great memories playing the first one.

Level-wise, it's exactly the same. I actually bought this game first when I got the GBA. I played it all the time! I started playing Metroid Fusion after that, but that was just too much metroid. Now my psp has a gba emulator, so I can play whatever I want. Boo ya. Ownt.

Just beat it. There's a whole new part to the game after the escape from Tourian where you beat up Space Pirates without your Power Suit in Chozo ruins. Pretty intense.
The final boss is too easy though.
