Went off w/o a hitch this year. My dad brought over some Guiness, which will still be next year. Harp all the way.

People actually celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
Who knew? Cool.

Meat's all beer-drinking, potato-eating, bar-fighting, Leprechaun-cereal-making Irish.
Next time you come over, bring your Guiness and I'll supply some Harp. They actually go together very well (not Guiness/Bass well, but good enough).
My wife being part Irish cooked up some corned beef & cabbage along with some other goodies.

We do it every year. Usually at the rents, but we decided to hold it this year to celebrate our new place.
Jenn and I cooked the corned beef and veggies. The rents brought over jello, irish bread(one with rasins, one without) and beer. My brother ended up drinking a whole 2liter of Coke by himself.

He must have been thirsty after downloading all those NOFX albums.
I work with a proud Scotsman, so all day Thursday I kept asking him where his green was. He kept getting all mad and going, "I'm not Irish, I'm Scottish!"
Yeah, that was a stupid story.

I have nothing against shit like self-motivation, positive thinking, etc. I actually have a channel on Live365 in my favorites list which is nothing but that stuff.
I'm not one of those guys that always remark on what a beautiful day it is or answer "fantastic!" when somebody asks how I'm doing, but I look at life like a game...and anything that can help me play a little better is fine with me.

I look at life like everyone's out to get me. I mean, what better way to shape your opinion of life than to go by past experiences?
