I've been working on this design for some time now. Finally sat down and cranked out all the problems and came up with a simple, mostly black & white front page. So any opinions? Love it or hate it, I don't care...so long as you can give me some critism to work with.

It loads almost instantly on my old machine, whereas the other one took a bit to straighten out. The simple design works well.
