I can't imagine how somebody would think the Ridgeline is a better tailgating vehicle than the Avalanche. Especially since the Escalade makes the list!
The bed of an Avy is actually MADE with tailgating in mind. Pull down the tailgate and you'll find built in cupholders, tracks on the bed liner so your grill doesn't slide all around, compartments inside the side of the box for ice and beer, etc.
But then again, it IS a lady writing the review...and Honda does have an extraordinarily high female demographic.
As a sports fan who has enjoyed tailgating in the past, this article strikes me as inaccurate, offensive garbage.
