FUCK! What the fuck is going on in New England!?! I can understand them dropping Ty Law who is apparently more fragile than wrapping paper...but then they release Phifer and now Brown?!?
I understand I'm not a football coach, but this doesn't make any fucking sense!!! Troy Brown is a team player, played here his whole career, and even switched positions and played utility to fucking help the team become the dynasty they are! Why the fuck did they decline Brown's option!

I went to Marshall University from 91-96. While there, there was a brief period I majored in Sports Management and Marketing. That semester every class I had, Troy Brown had with me, even Softball which eventually became Wuffleball due to thelarge amount of snow that had fallen on the ground.
I spent alot of time with Troy that semester and cna say he is a stand up, classy guy. I really hope someone picks him up because I feel he is not done in the NFL by a long shot. I think he still has about 4 or 5 good season left in him.

It's possible he'll re-sign with the Pats, but the Chiefs are showing a lot of interest in him. I wouldn't mind seeing him go there. He would be downright dangerous.

Yeah, I heard he's coming back for another year. I don't know the signing terms, but I assume it's much less than what his option called for.
Interesting that very good players are willing to take pay cuts to continue to play for the Pats. Brady signed long term for considerably less than what he's worth.

I actually looked that epidimeic up. It is a RARE thought to be extinct term called..."For the Love of the Game". Yeah, it was the first time I heard that term as well.
