I LOVED Olympic baseball. These guys played for pride and respect. I will neve forget when Tommy Lasorta did the impossible and took a group of unknowns to the gold a few years ago. That sucks it got dropped. sports.espn.go.com/oly/news/story?id=2103234 |

Man, that's too bad. Hit the nail on the head, though. No recognizable players. If we sent over one team packed with the best players in the MLB it would be huge (although the Dominican Republic would kick everybody's ass). Plus the fact that baseball isn't terribly popular in Europe kind of kills it.
Olympic rugby would be awesome. Of the possible sports taking it's place, here's my list in order of preference:
1. Rugby
2. Golf
3. Karate
4. Squash
5. Roller Sports (assuming they don't mean "derby"...ugh)
