I heard this morning some quotes from an interview with Drew Bledsoe concerning the role he's going to be playing with the Cowboys. He goes through the motions of "I'm not done yet, I still have a lot to offer, blah blah blah". I agree with this stuff. The funny thing is, though, he was talking about his speed and saying there were a lot of QB's slower than he is.
The name he dropped in particular was Tom Brady. Bledsoe even went on to mention that if somebody was to put together a Pay Per View of a foot race between himself and Tom Brady, he would sign up immediately.
Had Bledsoe finally flipped his lid? Has he built up so much self-confidence that he actually believes this?
I'll agree that Bledsoe is tougher, can take a hit better, can throw longer, and is even more diverse on the field than Brady...but faster? Ha ha! If these two ran a quater mile, not only would Bledsoe LOSE, but Brady would lap him!
I can't think of a single active QB slower than Drew Bledsoe. The stress has finally gotten to Bledsoe, and he's gone stark raving mad.
