I was intrigued, so I did a little research. I guess this was done by a guy named Derren Brown, the David Blaine of the UK, who specializes in things like mind control, hypnotism, etc. Somewhere I think it says he claims to be able to put people to sleep over the phone. So, I don't think this is an actual video game so much as it is a stunt set up for one of his television shows. I've never had anyone actually attempt to hypnotize me, so I'm skeptical. Another comment was made that the person who was playing the game's friends don't really have much of a reaction when he falls asleep. Which leads me to believe they are all in on it. Fascinating subject and concept, but I don't buy it either.

The legal ramifications of this are unlimited. And, really, who would want to install a game that requires other people to be involved in the play of the game? I doubt it's real. And, honestly, it looked like crap from the screen views anyway. I can't even imagine stopping to give it the time of day WERE it a real game.

As One Eye already mentioned, this looks like a one time shot for a TV show. And since I'm not familiar with the laws over there, I can't really comment on just how legal or illegal it is.
None the less, welcome to the site. I dig your website.
