Fucking stupid. Microsoft has a chance to get ahead of Sony...AND THEY DROP THE FUCKING BALL!
Releasing two versions is stupid. The cheaper of the two does not come with a hard drive which developers have been begging MS for. You know whose next gen system does come with a hard drive? Sony. Due to convenience and flow of game play, take a wild guess who the developers will choose to design games for...
They should take some of that 360 CRAP away like the headset and face plate, and work on finding a way to release one version with a standard HDD for $350.
Whatever. I don't even own an X-Box. I have no desire to invest hundreds of dollars into a system just so I can play Halo. Sony is going to eat their lunch...again.

Sony has always made the funner game system-always will. But if you want quality you gotta go with microsoft. Xbox isn't just about Halo either, I don't even like Halo. It's overrated as fuck. I also hate how their is two versions as well! NOW THAT IS FUCKING STUPID! GOD!
What comes out first PS3 or Xbox 360? I'll buy whichever comes out first.

The 360 comes out later this year. The PS3 will be out next year. Also I was reading in the latest issue of EGM that the PS3 will not have the hard drive at launch and the consumer will have to buy it seperatly |

XBOX is looking pretty fucking ugly so far. The graphics on the games that are also for the first xbox and PS2 are even worse on the 360 since they just have a higher definition so the objects are only more detailed thus making them uglier. Maybe they should have called it xbox 1.5. Or money box

I've decided that I'm just giving up console based gaming altogether. I have a GameCube and PS2, and own games for both still in the shrinkwrap. I just have no time for these things, plus with a couple kids around it's tough getting rights to the TV...especially to play a game like GTA.
I'm just sticking with handhelds from here on out.

My Social Studies teacher bought an Xbox 360. No, not to play. Since only a small number were released (until January) the demand is extremely high and they're sold out everywhere, so he's selling it on ebay for $850.00. It costed him a little over $450.00 (he bought the core system)

I was watching Head Line news and they were interviewing people buying the 360. They talked with some people who hadn't reserved one but showed up anyway. One guy was like, "I called in sick to work today, and I didn't get a 360. Now I'm out a days pay and no system." ;D

We really aren't going to see what the 360 is going to be capable of for at least six months to a year. Microsoft really didn't get on the ball and get those developer packages out in enough time so the developers could fiddle with them.
Although Microsoft isn't alone. The way I'm hearing, Sony STILL hasn't gotten around to releasing any kind of developer's tools yet. So when that finally comes out (if chip problems don't push it past the ETA), there might be less than half a dozen games to choose from. And all of those will be from Sony.

They shoved all these new wonderific chips in there, giving it parallel processing (one for the graphics, one for the game engine), and forgot it was a tiny, sealed plastic box.
