All those remakes of classics are sickening. Of that list there are a few that have my interest...
Die Hard 4.0 - The first three were very entertaining. I have no reason to believe the 4th will be bad.
The Evil Dead - I strongly opposed this at first, but from my understanding both Raimi and Campbell will be on hand to make sure that this remake is an entirely different movie, but still a good glopfest.
Fletch Won - Assuming this stars Chevy Chase.
Ghost Rider - Still not sold on Nick Cage as Ghost Rider, and the shots of his bike look awful, but I used to love this comic as a kid so...
Indiana Jones 4 - Again, loved the first 3. I've also heard that they're not going to bother making Harrison Ford look young, but simply play up the fact that Indy is getting old.
The Punisher 2 - Again, huge fan of the comic as a kid.
Rambo 4 - The 3rd was pretty bad, and I heard Rambo will be suburbanized and chasing after his family who have been abducted. It's going to be really bad, but I want to see just how bad they can make it.
Sin City 2 - Obvious choice, I suppose.
Anyway, out of all the Bond movies to remake...Casino Royale? I realize it was a spoof, but it was bad even compared to the typical Bond movie which I usually hate.

THe film is about Willis and his daughter on vacation and then terrorist arrive. It sounds more like Spy Kids if you read about it.
I can only hope and pray your right about this one.
It is directed by Kevin Smith (Mallrats) and is about a young Fletch. Chase is suppose to have some roll in it though, but not like the other movies.
I too loved Ghost Rider. Marvel Studios is very fickle....will be be awesome like the X-Men movies... or crappy like Daredevil.

It will be a great popcorn movie but it will be a movie that should have been made 5 years ago.
The best thing about the first one...shot 100% here in Tampa.
I have heard BAD things about this movie.
About Casino Royale. If you know anything aobut the history of those films. They originally wanted to make it and cast Sean Connery, BUT he was busy filming something else. They edited the script somewhat and made it a spoof. Thus the Peter Sellers version. Now they want to make it the way Ian Flemming intented it to be.
Sadly, it is the remakes I feel will make baby Jesus cry. They are remaking THREE sacred Hollywood films in Police Academy, Revenge of the Nerds and Back to School. ALL three of these are cult classics and are probably checked out by your local stoners on any given Saturday night at Blockbuster. The casting of Cederrick the Entertainer in place of the departed Rodney Dangerfield is grounds for Hollywood to be burned to the ground.

They'll do his head the same way they do his bike...  I've seen some shots filming where Ghost Rider is just wearing a blue mask with little electrode things all over it, so even the skull won't be real. Ghost Rider's head will be 100% CGI. |

I see what you are saying. The truth is Spawn and Ghost Rider have almost similar backgrounds and Spawn turned out to be a decent live action.

what I actually said was it was DECENT. Not good like Spiderman or X-Men or bad like The FIRST Punisher movie, Captain America or the never released Fantastic Four. I wouldn't call it the greatest movie of all time. But it sure isn't THAT bad compared to other comic book movies of that time period. Better than the Batman movies thats for sure.

I can't wait to see sin city 2. I felt the first one was really well done with a top notch line-up. Bruce Willis uhhh..... Shit their is a bunch I remember I just can't quite spit it out. oh well. It was really unique and strang. I don't think the sequel will be as good as the first though.

Those first two Police Academy movies were pretty funny in a stupid way, but when they started turning them into PG movies they really took a nose dive. Then they had that cartoon which was probably one of the worst kids shows in the history of the television (right up there with the original Ghostbusters, Kissy Fur, Foofer, The Get-A-Long Gang, Pole Position, The Wuzzles, and that cartoon starring Bo Jackson, Wayne Gretzky, and Michael Jordan).
