i'm bummed. i basically used to listen to his show from around 7 till the end every day. the first half of my workday just got harder to tolerate.

while i don't think howard himself is generally all that funny/entertaining, his show has (especially in the last few years) been home to a hilarious cast of characters/bits.
you would have to find wendy the retard funny if you'd ever heard her.

If I ever track something down I'll give it a listen or two, but I've always found his show to be along the lines of "I got this blind midget to feel up a porno star on the air while this midget sings Sesame Street songs in the background. I'm so shocking!!! Wanna hear a fart joke?"
Imus is a hundred times funnier, although not intentionally.

I never listened to Stern until I found a station(104.7) which lplays him a few months ago.(They also play Alice Cooper nights). While Stern is a one-trick pony his show is great, especially Artie.
Wendy and gary the retards are great. Someone on the realapse board posted a MP3 of the time the Flu calls gary. Priceless
I have an mps of a stern show from 1995, when Billy west is doing voices. Aces
Imus is at his best when he insults his coworkers.

It's not like the sattelite radios are that expensive. If you're a true hard core fan, drop the cash. Or get the streaming broadcast off the internet somewhere.
Personally, I can't stand shock jock buttholes. I'm still trying to adjust my body with doses of caffeine and nicotine, and the last thing I need is some annoying, braying jackass of a non-intelligent retard inviting his friends to babble on incessantly for 4 hours or so.
