I have a feeling it's going to be just like the new Family Guy episodes: horse shit. I felt that way at first. However, I think the Futurama team will just continue where they left off and have great episodes. When Family Guy came back it's like they diden't even want to try.

I wouldn't call all the new Family Guy's bad. They have their moments. They should just can American Dad and concentrate only on Family Guy.
And I have faith in the new Futurama.

Eh...I don't know. I'm still skeptical. But if it's going to be on Comedy Central, there's a chance I may come across it, so I won't change the channel. But the episodes towards the end of the run before were really really bad. Introducing a reoccuring love story to the mix was the worst idea ever.

Some of the new Family Guy episodes are some of the best ever. Go watch the episode "The Cleveland Loretta Quagmire" and tell me it is not hilarious. Although, I agree for the most part the new ones aren't even comparable to the third season.

Go watch the episode "The Cleveland Loretta Quagmire" and tell me it is not hilarious. Sure some of them are funny, but Family Guy isn't consistent anymore. It still has its classic moments (like Peter's ancestor throwing of a horse through a window) but now I don't think they're trying as hard.

I stopped watching the new Family Guy episodes after I saw them do a second chicken fight like the one in the Y2K episode. They're not trying at all. They're using the same fucking jokes from all their old episodes, like they'll still be funny. They're not!

Hollow: I agree, Family Guy isn't as near as consistent. But I agree with you, when Peter's ancestor threw the horse through the window and it got up and went nuts, I couldn't stop laughing.
Lamp: Yeah, they've used the Ollie Williams joke about 4 more times. The original time was really funny, but after that it's not.

They're using the same fucking jokes from all their old episodes, like they'll still be funny. They're not! Co-sign, especially after everyone has been watching reruns for the past couple of years, and then they return with the same fucking jokes we've seen over and over. Very Disappointing. 2008 is a hell of a long wait for new episodes of Futurama. I didn't care too much for the show when it was on Fox, It's an ok show but I'm not going to cream my pants upon hearing this news.
