cd4sale.it/customer/product.php?productid=21884&cat=281&page=9Mirage Man – Thunder and Lightning. Mirage Man is a project by Giovanni Fenati of Italy. He plays what they called easy listening back then, and is now the template of bands who play funk or acid jazz. This is mostly a mixture of old school jazz with psychedelic touches via some Hammond organ, fuzz guitar going crazy on lead, and your typical big band setup for the horn section. The kind of music they use as a backdrop for the games like Driver on the old playstation or if your familiar with Dolemite and other blaxploitation flicks. The album sounds timeless. Although it has that vintage sounding production, its not noticeable this was recorded during 1966. Pop this while driving and you’ll sound like Shaft cruising down the ghetto. Jive talk while the flute and saxophone alternate improvisation. Cool listening experience
