Doh! I just posted my thoughts on this in another thread.
The cover is fucking awesome. Exhumed has the coolest logo I've ever seen from any band.

Yeah, Exhumed rarely fails to please with their covers. I left my copy of "Gore Metal" just laying in the passenger seat of my Jeep once. For those not familiar with the cover, it features a kitchen violently splashed with blood, decapitated head in the microwave, bones piled on the counter, gizzards dripping off the counter top into a big pile on the floor, and somebody's arms holding a chainsaw wrapped with bloody organs. It's actually a really funny cover in a cheesy gore flick sense. Anyway, when my wife got in she went to move the CD and proclaimed, "(pause) That's just disgusting!". Mission accomplished, Exhumed. EDIT: Here's the actual cover picture:  That's probably my favorite cover of theirs. It's just way too over-the-top it's hard not to like it. |
