Memorial Valley Massacre (aka Valley Of Death) 1988
It's hard to find a slasher movie worse than this one. The whole plot of the movie revolves around some fancy suit opening up a new campground on Memorial Day. As is usually the case with new campgrounds, the resident forest boy psychokiller kidnapped at a young age and grown up without the help of civilization is on the loose. The acting is horrid, the plot is horrid, the script is horrid, the soundtrack is horrid, and the gore is straight-up laughable. It's one of those movies one would rent just to make fun of with a group of friends...that is if the first HOUR of the movie didn't plod along at a snail's pace while the entire campground of highly unlikable campers manages to piss off the forest boy enough to send him on a measly half-hour killfest. Gaping holes in both script and camerawork are in abundance, making this movie all the better. If you suck, and like to be associated with things that suck, then this is the movie for you.
Standout parts: - "What's the matter? Don't like speed metal?" - The scene where the killer relentlessly beats an ATV with a stick. - Laughably awful death scene of a kid getting speared before falling into a pit of spikes.
