There's still a fair amount of just plain dumb behavior in Prov (backpacks in the pit, college girls at their first show thinking they can "crowd surf," poor hygiene, etc) but outright dick behavior is fairly rare and gets shut down quick. Very tight scene here, people tend to not move away so much so it is an older scene quite often, which is cool. Dude started to get a little physical at a Suffering Bastard show and the band just came to a dead stop, entire crowd just had thier fingers pointing to the exit till dudeguy left, it was pretty funny.

Stuff I saw when I saw Throwdown on the 23rd: -About six people in the middle of a mosh pit flailing around like a bunch of idiots. They were the only six people in the mosh pit, will distanced too. -People trying to stage dive when there were only about four people standing in front of them -Someone hanging from the ceiling rafters and kicking everyone down below So basically, hardcore shows have shitty crowds. I wanted to go to that Rattus/Noxagt show but instead I got to go to work and clean up after a bunch of bastards who came in after the football game in my town. I hate that.

Well, like I said, some bands will attract shitty crowds.... Here's me (bald guy) making funny faces during Rattus.

You're bald? Kick ass.
Seen anything promising lately showwise? It seems like there's not a whole lot going on this month. I hear Backstabbers Inc. is playing a couple shows in New England, but I can't be going up to Boston on a school night. I wish I could though.
EDIT: I actually just found out they're playing the AS220 on the 13th. I would so go to that, but it's after progress reports...and...well, I suck at school.

Two guys to your right...what the hell is that kid wearing for a shirt? It looks like studded leather armor covered in Saran Wrap.
Anyway, for the 3-band CD you made how do the bands play? I assume Vince, Mice, Necro?

Fuck, I don't remember the order.... I thought the way I wrote the names on the cd should have been fairly obvious..?
That's no shirt, most likely a crusty black denim vest. I guess you guys don't have crust kids up north? There's plenty around here...all black clothes, the studded vest is almost universal, typically dirty and unhygienic as teh name "crust" would have you believe. They gravitate towards bands like Hellshock, Amebix, Axegrinder, Discharge, GISM, etc etc.

That's the order you wrote them on the CD from top to bottom, but when you listed the bands out of order in this thread I wanted to make sure I had all my shit together. I'm an anal little frenchman.
And not a whole lot of crust up around here. Hardcore/grind, adult rock, and celtic/folk are the most popular forms of music, it seems.

I like crust punk, but I don't wear a vest and I shower every day.
I was listening to some Backstabbers Inc. on the bus. Hooray.
Discharge sucks.

Behemoth - Demigod
I just recently "bought" this album. I think it's pretty awesome. Too bad they aren't releasing it in the US until the begining of next year.

Behemoth is some smokin' stuff. You would think they would try and up the release date in the states since they have a pretty good sized following.
