Hah, finally some semblence of activity on philippine metal scene. A local band Mortal Grudge has released an indie album: I wish I can let you guys here what they sound like but all I can share is a link to thier official site www.mortalgrudge.com/666.htmwell Ive heard some songs on their album and they sound like cannibal corpse on first hearing, oh well you gotta start somewhere I guess. The album comes cheap as it would cost roughly $3. When I see their shows and get thier album maybe i can tell you more about them. Ah yes Im gonna ask people again what they think about some bands as I dont know anything from them: Sinergy Sirenia/tristania Decapitation Fleshcrawl Fleshgrind Kamelot Aborym

Cool that the metal scene is picking up a little bit where you are, man.
Stupid question, but did you ever get that package from The End Records? Those fuckers never got back to me, either. If you didn't get it, that is the absolute LAST time I order anything from those guys. PM me, as I have an idea for you.
None the less, here are my opinions of the bands you listed...
Sinergy - I still don't know if this is just a side project or a full fledged band. Power metal, so I can't tell you much about it other than the fact they started up in the late 90's with some guy from In Flames and some guy from Dimmu Borgir. From what little I've heard, it was very technical.
Sirenia/tristania - Sirenia I have no clue. Tristania is some gothic shit which doesn't really interest me.
Decapitation - There's a couple different Decapitations, but by the names on this list, I assume this is in referrence to the melodic death metal band. Personally, I'm fucking sick of the genre.
Fleshcrawl - They're signed to Metal Blade if that tells you anything. **cough**boring as fuck**cough**
Fleshgrind - It's not cool to admit you like Fleshgrind, but I think they're one of the better death metal acts around. I stick them right up there with Gorgasm.
Kamelot - Not sure. I think these guys are power/prog. Not my thing. Horatio might be able to shed some light on these guys, though.
Aborym - The trick to buying black metal is to only buy the .05% of the shit that's actually worth listening to. I think Aborym fucking rock. Nice mix of classic black thrash with melodic black and a bazillion other influences. This is right up your alley, SS.
