GREEN CARNATION mastermind Tchort (a.k.a. Terje Vik Schei, ex-EMPEROR, SATYRICON, EINHERJER) has commenced the songwriting process for what might become "Light of Day, Day of Darkness" Part II and III. Commented Tchort: "I never thought about continuing on the path set with [2001's] 'Light of Day, Day of Darkness' - until now. Lately I have gotten new ideas that excite me a lot. It might just be the weather and all the light-dressed girls outside lately that makes me feel this way, but it also might be a rush of genuine inspiration that such work as making a second and third part would require".
In other news, The End Records has made available a strictly limited edition double gatefold vinyl version of GREEN CARNATION's "A Blessing In Disguise" (2003) through their mailorder. To order a copy, click here.
As previously reported, GREEN CARNATION filmed two shows in Poland in January for an upcoming DVD. Other bonus material includes a pre-production recording of a brand new song from the forthcoming album, footage from the drum production of "Blessing In Disguise", photo galleries, acoustic material, studio reports, personal bios and personal discographies, photos of equipment used to record GREEN CARNATION's music, exclusive paintings painted by Stein Roger Sordal and more

Wow. Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness is an awesome fucking album. I would review it, but seeing as all the reviews here consist of a short two paragraph summary followed by individual song break-downs, reviewing an album with only one track would pretty much suck.
None the less, looking forward to parts 2 & 3.

I say you review it. And why not? Maybe you can review one track by the minute mark; like by 00:09:00 the song goes into doom metal riffery, by 00:30:00 a woman vocalizes along with a saxophone. That would be funny too.
By the way, nice new layout I like it best. Dont you wanna put a short java animation intro before the site loads?

Oh, hell yeah. There's a million different things I would like to do with this site. Truth be told, I'm just not good at the fancy stuff like Flash.
None the less, thanks on the compliment. Have you gotten a chance to read through any of the Quick Reviews? Just curious what you thought of the simplified version. With the new template, I'm hoping I can start to average one review a day.

The Quick reviews are good album overviews I guess since mostly I havent heard the bands you have reviewed in them.
Im interested in that Wurdulak; sounds like an all star cast. But raw black metal doesnt really interest me now adays. I like the new intricate, symphonic proggressive black metal bands right now that moslty translate to gay for the purist. HAh!

Well, I gotta tell ya, other than the surprisingly decent production you would fucking hate Wurdulak. I have nothing against the keyboard-driven black metal bands. I'll leave the black metal purity to the Dungeons & Dragons mega-geeks. If you haven't yet, check out Fintroll. I slapped a review of Jaktens Tid up a couple months ago. That's right up your alley. And when you get a chance, PM me your mailing address again.
