Sweden's AMON AMARTH have completed work on their new album, "Fate of Norns", according to an online posting by the band's vocalist Johan Hegg. "Currently we're preparing for the upcoming Rock The Nations Festival in Istanbul on July 3rd-4th. After that we'll take a well-deserved vacation from the music before we start preparing for Wacken Open Air," he writes. "We wish all our friends a great summer, and we'll see all of you on tour in autumn/winter."
As previously reported, the follow-up to last year's "Versus The World", "Fate of Norns" (which refers to the three Norns - or "godesses of fate" - Urd, Skuld and Verdandi, who, in Scandinavian mythology, sit at the root of Yggdrasil - the world tree - weaving the fate of every man) was recorded at Berno studio in Malmö, Sweden. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "An Ancient Sign of Coming Storm", "The Fate of Norns", "Arson", "Sealed In Blood" and "The Valkyries Ride".

Thanks for the info, SS! I think they burnt out after The Crusher, though.
