Sweden's ENTOMBED have set an October 20 Scandinavian release date through Threeman Recordings for their new album, "Unreal Estate". The CD, a document of the band's live appearances at the Royal Opera Hall in Stockholm, Sweden, will be issued in the rest of Europe on November 8 throgh Plastic Head distribution. An extensive booklet with pictures from the performances will included with the album.
As previously reported, ENTOMBED completed a number of performances in 2002 as part of the "Unreal Estate" show, with the band doing a 45-minute set of original material while surrounded by 30 ballet dancers.
Incidentally, these performances marked the first time in the history of the opera house that earplugs were being away to the attendees at the door.
"Unreal Estate" track listing:
01. DCLXVI / Intermission 02. Chief Rebel Angel 03. Say It in Slugs 04. It Is Later Than You Think 05. Returning to Madness 06. Mental Twin 07. Night of the Vampire 08. Unreal Estate 09. In the Flesh 10. Something Out of Nothing 11. Left Hand Path (outro)
Not only is the name of the album insultingly unclever, but that track listing is disappointing. Hopefully it will sound better than the utterly pathetic Monkey Puss...assuming I even bother picking it up.

I might be interested in watching it just to see how the hell they work 30 ballerinas into their show, but unless it's packed full of death 'n' roll goodness I don't think I'll buy it.
