No way! A fucking Dead Milkmen reunion! Plus there's some cats in Philly I wouldn't mind catching up with.
After looking at the calender, though, it looks like that would be on a Sunday. Man, that's going to be kind of rough. I'm going to seriously consider going.

Get a load of this...I hear Tarantula's coming in from fucking AUSTRALIA. As far as I know, BTO, kksuck2, and Tarantula are sharing a hotel room. My mom said as long as I go with someone else she knows and that it's alright with my dad, I can go. I'm going to see if I can get the shaz to come with me. Convincing his mom will be tough though.

Interesting. BTO may have his chance to kick you ass now.
Hey Uncle Meat, would you at all be interested in a short road trip? I promise not to molest you in the hotel room this time.

Interesting. BTO may have his chance to kick you ass now. As long as this time of peace remains, I don't think that will happen. Even if we are at war on the board, it's a fucking DM REUNION! We'll be too excited by that to have any differences between us. And he can't be nearly as annoying in person as he is on the board.

Well, everyone on the DM board has been planning intensely for this...we're probably all going to meet up at the hotel too. You in?

I don't know. I'm not going to drive down there by myself, and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to find anybody that wants to travel that far for a show.

It's not looking too good for me either right now. Apparently you have to be 18 to get a hotel room.

How much travel are you talking about here? I'm curious because of the difference in state size and distance between cities in the east vs. west. Sometimes I have to travel upwards of 180 miles to see shows. One way.
I was talking to the road manager for Midnight Creeps, and he said that back there the cities are very close to eachother, but that everyone stays put, and won't travel very far or to other towns to see shows.
I can also understand that not yet being 18 can be a huge factor. The first coolest show I saw when I was that age was Anthrax when they did Spreading the Disease. The crowd was nuts. Testament opened up only they were called Legacy and Paul Baloff was singing for them.

Midnight Creeps are from RI, the smallest state in America. You can drive end to end in an hour. A twenty minute drive here is considered "far." Seriously.

He's right...I'm another Rhode Islander as well. But my friends mothers don't like the idea of driving over 6 hours to see a show in Philly. Especially since we'd have to stay overnight, no way we would be able to even get back in time for school the next day even if we left right after the show...like I'd go to school the next day anyway.

Sometimes I have to travel upwards of 180 miles to see shows. One way. This would be roughly a 380 mile trip one way for me. I just bought a new truck last night anyway, so now it's official that I will not be going. Have I ever mentioned how jealous I am of you?

I see. That is a considerable distance. I didn't realize it was that far to Philly for you guys. That would be like me driving up to Portland. Too far to turn around and drive back, that's for sure.

I was pretty into the Dead Milkmen in my day, but I honestly doubt I would even go to this show if it was booked in my town. Explain this crosscountry obsession someone.
PS- I finally got BLIMBY on vinyl last month or so and was shocked at how lame that album sounds to my now non-high school ears.
