Melvins cancel remaining tour dates.

I'm not sure how many Melvins fans may stray in here. This from Ipecac.

* We are very sorry to say, but due to an illness in the band the Melvins have cancelled all of their scheduled dates for the rest of the year. We are hoping that the shows will be able to be rescheduled in the future and the band sincerely apologizes for any incvonvenience caused by this unforseen circumstance. Knowing the Melvins like we do, we have no doubt that they will return stronger than ever. Thanks for your support and understanding.

They never play close enough to me anymore. I saw them in like '94 with Godheadsilo, they were great.

Them Melvins are one of those bands that I tried to get into, but I just can't. I guess I just don't hear what other people hear.

Regardless of what you may be missing in their recordings, they are one of the best live bands ever. They shake places off of their foundations.
