This site's review area (sputnik) I find very accurate and objective. However, I came across this website that seems to be just the opposite:

This website always comes up first or second in google searches, and just irritates the hell out of me. Here are some examples:
In flames reviews:
Whoracle C-
Clayman C-
reroute to remain B
soundtrack to your escape D
For soundtrack to your escape, they claimed the songs are a complete rip-off of Korn and Rammstein....hello?? Also, Reroute to remain getting the best in flames album review??
Megadeth - So Far, So Good...So What? C
Metallica - St. Anger A
Trivium - Ascendancy C-
Bolton, Michael - Michael Bolton A
They seem completely biased against certain bands, and just by reading through some of their reviews, I get really angry. Plus, they write in the manner of "this is the final fact" when the reviews are clearly filled with previous dislikes and biases. They are just a bunch of pricks, in my opinion, and are way too harsh. (i.e. they give an album an F because they think it sounds like hard rock too much) Read it, you'll see.

The majority of our reviews are metal. You can't have 95% metal reviews and expect to attract a 50% hardcore crowd. Write more hardcore reviews, and we're going to attract more people. |
