the powerslave cover was rediculously great, but probably should've been the encore instead of the opener

Yeah, we had just learned it the day before, so I think we were just stoked on playing it heh. Perhaps it will be played again, someday.................

You know, while I'm in this thread, I ended up going to the Providence roller derby thing yesterday that Mahi Mahi played the halftime of. Around 5:30, I just asked what a friend of mine was doing and I ended up going to it. Good times. Went to Dave and Busters after, rode seven people piled on top of each other in a car for a short time...

rode seven people piled on top of each other in a car for a short time... Ha ha! I used to love doing this. Back when I had my tiny little Mustang, we managed to fit two people in the front seat, four people in the back, plus a fat chick and some kid's Rottweiler in the hatchback. You could hear shit underneath the car scraping on the ground.

Hmm...I've never heard of any of those bands, but if you're playing it shouldn't be too bad. My head calculations are telling me that's a Thursday night too, so hopefully I won't be working.
Got a time and place yet?
Also, time to get Soulseek running.
Edit: By the way, happy birthday Derek(assuming that date in your profile is real).

I'm gonna go see Rose Royce on Friday. Does that count?
No?
Anyway, I missed Thrash Against Cancer on Saturday. Testament was headlining, but I was gonna go just to see Mudface, with the kid from Death Angel, because I'm in love with their bass player because she's in an all-girl Led Zeppelin cover band. And Laaz Rockit reunited for the show, dammit! But it was like forty bucks and I was tired.

it was a good show derek. kind of a small turnout (sunday night blah), but the bands were all really good. nothing really over the top, just good solid tight hardcore. probably the only chance i'll have of seeing kriegstanz and seein red so i figured i'd better jump on it.
also, i dig redrum shows a lot cause it's almost like hanging at a friend's house instead of at an actual "venue," so even if the bands aren't all at 100% i still usually have a good time.
