This is kind of like the video game version of the Now Playing thread...what games are you playing lately?

I've been playing Link's Awakening on Game Boy again. That's a fun one. Also Mario Golf Advance Tour, since I bought it yesterday.

I got Pilotwings and Ocarina of Time used on N64, so they're in play on that system. Super Mario 64's been in there quite a bit lately too.

Also, Super Metroid. I'm getting frustrated because there's an area I feel I'm not getting enough room to shinespark when I know I can do it...

I still have games I've gotten for Christmas that I haven't put more than fifteen minutes into. Been playing Super Smash Bros. Melee with my son here and there along with a little Evil Dead: Fistful Of Boomstick while I was really sick.

I actually picked up TMNT 2: Battle Nexus thinking my son and I could partake in some mutli-player senseless Foot Clan whoopin' violence...but it's more like the original TMNT for NES than anything. Probably one of the worst games I've ever played for a next gen console in all seriousness.

rally sport challange to for the XBOX. this has been in my game system forever and all i do on my spare time is listen to music while playing that. if u like rally games definatley pick this one up it's highly addictive. i have completed the game in every mode (easy, medium, hard legend thats not what there called just examples) and unlocked all the cars and skins but i still keep playing it. fable is also choice if u like free roam RPG's

Devil May Cry 3

A damn fucking fine game. It's an absolute blast.

I'm also playing some Halo 2 over Live on the side, I'm digging the new mutiplayer gameplay changes, despite Stage Select's article. Add in the new maps and you've got a good reason to be playing Halo 2 multiplayer right now.

For console, I was playing Gran Turismo 4 like a madman when it first came out, but faded from that a bit. I beat Super Metroid: Zero Mission on Gameboy Advance SP. And on the computer I just picked up SWAT 4, which seems ok... a little slower paced than what I usually like. Call of Duty is a great FPS for the PC that never gets old. And whenever I feel like going old school, I just boot up NESticle and play some Skate Or Die 2, holler if ya hear me.

I'm thinking of buying a comp the problem is choosing the right one. I want it to play the best games, be really fast on the internet, etc. So any suggestions? I was thinking about buying one of those Dell XPS GEN 5's but I don't know...

also you can recommend a PC of any price range cause i'm not a cheap bastard and if i'm going to buy a new computer it's going to be top notch shit. I"ll have a $5,000 limit I guess...

Mario Golf, Mario Golf, Mario god damn Golf on the N64. Just like last summer. So very very addictive. I remember playing this game the summer after 6th grade and it still kicks ass today. I recently found some weird bonus music...if you're playing as all characters that have the rainbow power show(Yoshi or DK) in four player vs. mode, it gives you the music that turns out to be the same as the music from the Palm Beach golf course in the Game Boy Color version. Nice, relaxing jungle music.

I love golf...but I have yet to check out Mario Golf. I've played the first one for NES which was pretty good, but I've never gotten around to playing any of the other Nintendo golf games.

I have Tiger Woods 2003, but I just can't get into it. I play Neo Turf Masters on my Neo Geo Pocket Color more than Tiger Woods.

You know something? The N64 is almost ten years old. I can remember when that system first came out. My uncle got it that very day(I think the launch date was August 29, 1996) and I remember he had Super Mario 64 and Waverace(both still classics in my eyes). I was absolutely stunned. Seeing a video game in 3D practically made me shit my pants. I couldn't control it for shit back then, but boy did I have a lot of fun.

I feel old and I'm still pretty much a kid.
